In America we have an Employee based health care system. Basically if you are a full-time employee your employer must provide you with health coverage. Which is why finding full-time work in the United States is not easy. In fact many employers will not hire full-time workers because they can not afford too provide health care for their employees.

I just finished reading The Epidemic “a global history of aids” by Jonathan Engel. In his book Mr. Engel discusses the emergence of Aids during the early 1980’s and how the virus has spread around the world. He also looks at the American governments failed attempts to stop Aids for spreading.
