How to pick your topic for s speech

When you are asked to speak in front of a group, one of the most important things you need to consider is the topic on which you will be speaking. You do not want to speak on a topic which will bore your audience. At the same time, you do not want to speak on a topic which you are not familiar with.

So, whenever you are required to give a speech and you are having trouble picking your topic, try the follwing pointers to help you get started:

1. CHOOSE A TOPIC THAT SUITS THE OCCASION.

2. CHOOSE A TOPIC YOU KNOW WELL.

3. CHOOSE A TOPIC THAT SUITS YOU.

4. CHOOSE A TOPIC THAT SUITS YOUR AUDIENCE.

If you are given a topic to speak about, and you feel that you will not be able to speak on the topic which you are given, politely ask if you can speak about a different topic. If you speak about a topic you are not familiar with, you will end up boring your audience with how you speak, and nobody wants that.
