The Ultimate Business Course_ Conventional Business Terminology Part Eleven

This is the final part of this section. Make sure that you have read throught all the other sections and that you know how to apply them in everyday life. It is important that you know these words reasonably well, or that you at least have an understanding of them. This will make progressing with the rest of the business course easier for you and will enable you to put everything into perspective a lot quicker than you normally would be able to.

Here is the final list which you need to know:

1. SHARE CAPITAL:
The balance sheet nominal value paid into the company represented by the total shares that where issued plus reserves.

2. VARIABLE COST:
Acost which varies with sales or operational volumes.

3. WORKING CAPITAL:
Current assetes less current liabilities, representing the required investment, continually circulating, to finance stock, debtors, and work in progres.

This concludes Section A of the business course. I hope that thus far you are enjoying yourself. And it only gets better. The next few parts are going to focus on being interactive as well. There will be activities which you may choose to do to facilitate your learning. The next section of the course will be available by monday, and focusses on the topic of banking.
