English has remained with us.So,long that now it has become a part and parcel of our daily life.It is such an in exhaustible treasure of knowledge, that we will only impoversih ourselves.If we decied to go without it. The slogans against englishare coined by those who are narrow minded and pseudo nationlists.By there disesed thinking they are doing more harm than good to the natoin.
It is advocated by the hindi zoaloats that the use of english should be bonned in india.All education in schools and colleages should be given through he medium of the national languages.And if one says that no good books on science or tecnology are available in hindi, they say that we should translate the avilable in english books into the national language. They forgetthat by the time.We translate one book into hindi,ten new publisher and never work should be compeleted. We shall merely turn ourselvesinto a nation of translators.It would be redicules to translate the scientific and tecnical terma in hindilanguages.
However,all this isn't to suggest that pride of place in india should go to the english languages. We most honour our national languages are take all steps for its development. all word, as far as possible should be done in national and religen language. But we should have no prejudice against the english languages if we are not to deprive our selves of the latest development in the field of science and tecnology.
