The beauty of marriage

On marriage:

There are so many people on this earth. Does any one life really matter? But in a marriage, you are saying,

“I am the sole observer of your life.
Your every joy, your every moment of sadness, I’ll observe.
I will watch your little successes.
I’ll watch the bigger ones.
I’ll watch how you become a kid all over again with the children.
I’ll watch how you respect your elders.
I’ll watch how you worked so hard at disciplining yourself to be what you are today.
I’ll watch that smile from a past memory.
I’ll watch your laughter from that funny movie.
I’ll watch you waking up in the morning and dressing up as a different person for work.
I’ll watch the joy from that new car.
I’ll watch how you take control to keep us together in matrimony.
I’ll watch your clipping your nails on the paper so the bed cover doesn’t get spoilt.
And I’ll be with you. I’ll be happy for you.
Your life will not go unnoticed for I will observe it.
Every breath you take, every move you make, I’ll be watching you.”

And when you know that all your efforts, all your love is being noticed, you don’t remain a dot in the universe; you become a part of its soul.
