A Merciless Killer
Bad human beings always exist in this beautiful planet Earth. They lived in the past, living at the present and will live in future as well.
Once there was a merciless killer living during the period of Buddha. He was a notorious thief and a killer who committed innumerable sins. At one stage, he repented on his mistakes and wanted to become a divine person like Buddha. He wanted become his follower.
He went to Buddha’s place to see him and start a new life with him. The Buddha’s followers whom he told his purpose of coming stopped him. They laughed at him and told him that was not a place for sinners like him. Therefore, they drove him away from their place.
His intention to meet Buddha was so firm that he decided to jump inside the campus wall of Buddha’s place.
.There he managed to sneak inside ashram Buddha’s chief disciple noticed him and asked him what made him jump inside the ashram. He told that he wanted to become a hermit like Buddha. He was astonished at his desire. He could notice the determination in his eyes. Therefore, he carefully studied his horoscope whether he had done any good things in his past births.
He found that he had done more sins in his previous births and so he asked his people to throw him away from the ashram. He was literally being thrown away from the ashram when Buddha entered the place. He enquired about the incident and understood all the matters. He told them that he would become eligible to become his follower within a week. All were shocked at this statement from Buddha.
The thief really shaped himself into a well-being within a week and surprised every one in the ashram. Buddha told his other followers that they forgot to study his future in his horoscope. He added, “when a person sincerely repents for his mistakes, he can transform into a divine soul quickly as he comes with too much of mental burdens caused by his sins.’
Later on, he became one of the great disciples of Buddha. This incident tells us that if a person really repents his mistakes, he will become eligible for normal life and therefore people should encourage him to start a new life.

This reminds me something I had heard earlier..
This really made me remind this which I heard from my guru:
The stone which is in water, say under the sea for so many years can loose its wetness once we remove it to outside from water. Means a good follower of perfect master can forget everything once he stopped following Him. The outside stone which is away from wetness so long can catch its wetness once it is placed in water.

You know, I am Cristian,
but you are right. I have read a lot about Buddha. Every religion has some big personality, whom we wish to have near us. When we are in troubles, we call for Jesus Christ automatically. He also changed criminals to good people, but look how Christians have changed the world. I thing, we (I mean Christians from Europe) would learn also something about Buddha, to understand our being on the Earth.
