Our religions could not make us religious

Our religions could not make us religious
We the people of India must accept that we are having so many religions and we are divided on the basis of religions, castes and even on the basis of our sub castes. But at the same time we shall have to accept that we could not become religious people. All the religions have taught us that we should not commit sins, crimes and misconducts, but still our police stations, our courts and our jails are full and there is no further space, but still people are being caught, being tried and are being sent to jails. No religion can claim that people in that religion are better placed and they are not committing crimes, sins and misconducts. All the religions are having guide books and we call those books holy books, sacred books or granths and if we go deep into the teachings contained in these works, we come to the conclusion that all these teachings are telling us that God is one, all people on this earth are children of God, God writes our luck and destiny, we work under the will of God, we all shall die and we all shall have to give our accounts and then we all shall get punishment or reward as per our record and all the holy books talk of Hell and Heaven and they say to us that we shall get Hell or Heaven as per our record of performance in this world. In spite of all these guide lines, the people on this earth could divide themselves into religions and castes, but they could not become members of one family nor they are afraid of God and they are under the spell of the Devil and most of the people on this earth are bound to be condemned to Hell and very few or none of us shall get Heaven. We can say that none of us shall get Heaven and the people who are looking religious are also artificial people and in fact they too are committing crimes, sins and misconducts and they are not considering all on this earth as members of the same family. So we can say with authority that our religions could not make us religious people and we are still divided on the basis of religions and therefore, we must accept that our religion could not play the role for which these religions had been established.
