BEAT THE COLD AND FLU BUGS NOW

Colds, flu and sore throats are common everywhere. These viruses are tough but it is not difficult to stay well, all you need is just a few simple lifestyle changes and a little time nuturing yourself and your family. First of all you should boost your immune system by stopping smoking, eating fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C and betacarotene or vitamin A(These are all yellow, orange and red fruits and veggies), reducing stress, getting eight hours of sleep a day and exercising just by taking a 15 minute walk every morning. Drink two litres or eight glasses of water to keep you hydrated. Reduce salt, diary and starchy food intake because they encourage mucus formation. Eat hot spicy foods to help clear nasal passages and increase body temparature to sweat out the virus. Squeeze a lemon into a glass and add hot water then drink to rehydrate you and add Vitamin C. Honey will soothe any sore throat. Ginger also helps to fight colds and flu. Some prevention measures include washing hands frequently, cleaning spots where germs breed-all door handles, fridge, taps and toilet handles, do not share towels, toothbrushes, drinks or food and sneeze into a tissue, shirtsleeves and hands but wash your hands immediatly.
