I am what I am

We were poor, hunger
We had no hope
We are helpless
We all forced to live

We can’t do anything
We have to face our fate
No other option left for us

Why you like this?

still i feel something is missing in my poem.i should have narrate in more intense way..actually i have inspired by a dialogue called"we born like this, we had no choice" in some film..thanks,.

I really feel this poem. When i see the imags on tv of the little kids in Africa who have little or no food and absolutely no choice in the matter. The Lord knows, Im heartbroken. Since my ancestors are African i sometimes wonder if we in the caribbean were somehow lucky to escape such a fate. Or are we now somehow to be the ones responsible to help them in some way. In anyway we can. Im gonna right a short poem about this topic. Read it and give me some feedback. Thanks.

African people litrally livening in the hell.they are very poor,hungur and black as well.recntly i happend to see one movie on these people and i inspired one dialogue by a certain charector that "we born like this,we had no choice".And i narrated spontaniously.As u said we are luccy enough to escape such fate.thanks..
