Oh my Lord!!

Oh my lord!
I know you have been there
beside me
in my endless efforts
to reach an equilibrium
between ideas and executions
the dreams and realizations
The stuff within and the way it
shows up outside

I asked you for and chose
the pursuit of happiness
You made my life only an endless pursuit.

I wanted to have a dream to live with
You let my life be a dream

I wanted a hope to live for
Now that is what I am left with

I wanted a chance
So you made my life a matter of
purely a chance

I said I did not want to take the
fun out of my life
So you made my life a joke..

I did not want to be carried away
so you let me sink under the
burdens all my life

I said let me not feel or think sorrow
So you filled in the remaining vacuum of life
because there was no other place

I said put me in the present
So you gave me no future

Is it my lack of expression that
is baffling you?

I asked for a world to live in
But, it looks like the world is within...
