MAKE your LAST Will and Testament NOW or NEVER

This year, our family had two deaths, my uncle and my grand mother. It's melancholic to lose someone you've spent almost all your life with and awefully wondrous to lose them in such a short time.

And going through this, I thought to myself... and I would like to share with you the same question that bugs me, have you... as an individual thought of making your last will and testament now? Well...?

I bet most of us already did THINK of making one but have we DONE it yet? Remember... we are all prone to dying (of course) and honestly, dying is such an expensive occasion (especially here in the Philippines).. so I suggest make your last will and testament now.

Try including the following items in your check list of reminders and information (ready to be divulge, no holding back):

1. Put in an envelope all your burial papers and funeral requirements (lot space, amount... etc.)

2. Write the way how you want your wake to be like
- people who will visit you (friends, all family members, all ex-gf and ex-bf, etc) - list them down.
- ambient music
- food
- color coding of visitors (dress code especially for your funeral day)
- songs to be sung
- funeral rituals
- pictures to display (album or photoframe)

3. Write down on a piece of paper (could be pieces of paper) all your reminders, secrets that you're ready to divulge, last words to your loved ones, memories you won't forget, things/stuff to hand down... and others you'd like to include

What do you think? Dying is a very sad moment but when you're all ready, these are things you'd like to prepare before you end your life on Earth. I mean, nothing's wrong to make your death memorable right? Just that, it will be memorable to others, not to you, because by then, you'll be out, lifeless... vanished.

You're right in saying that

You're right in saying that we should prepare for that inevitable end because all of us will have to die eventually. And one shouldn't put off making a last will and testament especially if he has some wealth to leave behind. And it's also important that he should already be making preparations for his funeral services so as not to put that burden on his loved ones.

But the most important thing that we should be doing while we are still alive is the preparation for our life in eternity. Man has only heaven or hell as his final destination. God has given us Jesus Christ so we can be saved from eternal damnation and we can have everlasting life with Him in heaven.

Invite Jesus Christ to come into your life now and make Him your Lord and personal Savior.
