Memoir

In this all lit hallway
I fell prey
As darkness engulfed me
in its flowing cloak
and on my breathe
as I choke...

I see, images flying by,
lots of faces,
happy,smiling and even weary,
pass by me
With looks varying
from vacant to estacy.

Rushing by is
my memory train
that lit this passage awhile.
Now its darkness again
with no start and no end.
Time and I transcend
towards the lit tunnelend
that lay far away in the front.

Is this journey
forward or back?
I dont know
and i dont care!
For there is n't
a thing that I lack!

I never bought the dreams,
That I may loose
In this PASSAGE,
I know they would break,
leaving behind sharpenels of the broken heart.

I never borrowed
the colors of rainbow,
that lay above me,
For I knew
they will fade
when the going goes strong!

So I transcend forth
with an empty head
and an empty mind.
Having lost myself
in Darkness for long
I am no different
than the darkness around.
