Simple Tips to Become a Good Speaker

DO NOT COPY SUCCESSFUL SPEAKERS
Copying others will hamper your own unique talent. Many persons try to copy successful speakers consequetly they become a rigid public speaker who is never able to create spark among the audience. So try to be different and unique.
EXPRESS BRAVELY
You can impress others only when you speak bravely. Repressed speakers rarely enthuse others, thus they become dull and boring. Whatever is there in your heart express with courage. Boldenss has its rewards.
USE SENSE OF HUMOUR
To become popular as a speaker it is essential to provide some lighter moments for your audience. People have to pass through a log of tensions in today's world. If they receive more tension while listening to you they may feel bore.
ASK QUESTIONS
To keep people attentive to your speech it is necessary to ask questions amid your speech. It will will keep them attentive to your each sentence.
MAINTAIN OPTIMISM
If your expression flows with optimism the audience will feel happy with you. Even if the situation is bad, people are under panic, people are burdened with inlfation and taxes, never reflect that you are pessimistic. Be hopeful and show the audience new path or new hope.
PREPARE WELL
Preparing well before any speech is a good habit. Especially new speakers need to work harder on it. Write your speech, re-write it, check the grammar properly. Rehearse it alone, rehearse among friends, speak facing the mirror till you almost memorise your it.

May I add a few more to your brilliant article? I gave you full marks as you can see by your stars, not the kind that Vijay alias Shankar talks about, but the ones that rate your contribution.
Some new speakers face 'stage fright'; they will have prepared their portfolio brilliantly, but once on stage they freeze up and cannot deliver!
At such a moment take a couple of very deep breaths and exhale slowly. Use the time to survey your audience with a welcoming smile to break the ice. Look for a bare spot in the audience where you see no body. Focus you attention there while delivering your speech, pause now and again and look at every one to see their reactions that you would catch unaware. This will gradually build in you a great confidence and lose that initial fright. Remember that most of those who are there are not the experts, you are, and that's the reason why you were selected above maybe the best.
