Patriotism is often inculcated in every child even before birth at home and latter at school. In the pages of Indian history we come across the inspiring tales of bravery, exemplary sacrifices of the family members and extraordinary behavior of immortal martyrs Time and again it is proved that any country can enjoy freedom in every way only if the citizens are true patriots, any society can flourish if fed by rich heritage and tradition. No country even with the strongest or biggest of armies can fight in the absence of moral right and ethics and force a victory.
The Indian armed forces are known as the best as far as discipline is concerned. Probably no other country has such a good history to boast of. The excellent armed forces did not originate in India after some western inspiration. Even before the British occupation of India there are instances to show that India was quiet capable of defending herself from foreign invaders. The reasons for the collapse of kingdoms is not due to poor army or cowardice, but due to unstable political situations caused mainly due to poor administration
