1)Cows Milk Formula This formula contains adequate amount of carbohydrates and proper percentage of proteins and fats.This combination makes it easy to digest.
2)Soy- based Formula - Soy-based formula is an alternative for babies who are allergic to the proteins in cow's milk formula or who can't tolerate lactose, a sugar naturally present in cow's milk. If you choose to use soy products, be sure to use a soy-based infant formula - not soy milk.

3)Protein hydrolysate formula this formula is suitable for the babies who have family history of milk allergy.This formula is easier to digest and does not cause any allergic reactions.

Some formula milk contains iron and some do not. Some infant formulas are enhanced with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (ARA). These substances are omega-3 fatty acids found in breast milk and certain foods, such as fish and eggs. DHA and ARA are thought to be important for infant eyesight and brain development.Infants can make DHA and ARA from other fatty acids in their diet, including the fatty acids in all commercial infant formulas. However, it's not clear whether infants can convert these components into optimal amounts of DHA and ARA.
