Never let an astrologer decide your life
First, I want to tell the readers that Astrology is a perfect science. I do love the subject very much and respect it. I always show interest to learn more and more in Astrology. However, I strongly feel that there is no good astrologer at present who can give 100% accurate predictions .Even the best astrologer may not be able to give more than 50%.results.
.
Nevertheless, there are chances that Agathiyar rishi could have given 100% results who lived about 5000 years ago. Even Nostrodamus who is supposed to be the best astrologer in the last 500 years could predict only upto 70% accuracy. If it is so to what extent, we can follow astrology in our life?
I often come across many incidents where the brides find it difficult to get married if they have some dosha in their horoscopes (mars dosha , maangalya dosha) There are a few more dosha like born in Moola star (affects the life of father in law) Kettai star (not good for the brother in law) Rohini(affects the maternal uncle).
Many people consult astrologers on many matters such as what business can be started, when can be started, marriage matching, when to get married etc etc. as though astrologer is God.
My honest opinion is that we should have our limitations in using astrology in our lives. If you find a good business and if your astrologer says it is not the right time for it just ignore him and go ahead with your opportunity and I am sure you will succeed. If you have a suitable alliance for your son/daughter and only the astrological element is not favorable just ignore it and proceed with the marriage.
We only know about our lives and therefore will be able to judge things better than the astrologers who study our horoscope with the only objective of their income and pride.
On the other hand, we can use astrology in certain matters. If a good astrologer says that the present time is very much favorable then you may take a few risks in your business and in other activities in your life. If your time is not good now ,then you may be more careful in all your activities during that period. But at the same time please remember we cannot afford to lose good opportunities just for the sake of astrology.
There are so many laws in astrology, so many sub laws etc etc .It is not easy to master this subject in a single birth. Be sure that no one on earth is a complete astrologer.
Therefore, friends, never let an astrologer decide your life in anyway. Use astrology with care. It can be used as a guide and not a textbook.

If people started thinking in Astrologers like this way, then whats the need of Temples and God. Astrology basically depends on ones thinking if one belives in astrology he will definitely try to see if predictions come true or not so in one way or the other he will see them comming true since he is going on thinking on the same predictions so he finds the predictions have come true and the reverse if one does not belive in astrology.Nice artical

They can never improve the quality of your life. They are doing their business to earn money. Any wise person can predict atleast 60% of the times correctly.

Just like religious doctrines, Astrology should only be taken as a guide. It cannot be 100% correct as predicted.
Scientifically all living things on this planet are under the influence of the stars and planets. If you look at the spawning of fish eggs, the breeding time of birds, the tides, the fall of autumn leaves, the thawing of ice to form glaciers and so on and so forth are all under the influence of the heavenly bodies. As such, man has produced a Science that predict the time in each person's life whereby things MAY HAPPEN. Man is NOT GOD to give the exact time and the exact nature of the situation to be 100% correct in his prediction.

i disagree on that.. the word of God is 100% true and accurate.. astrology yes its not 100% and i agree that we shouldn't depend on it

Vijayanths, I personally feel astrology is a great science but is very delicately perched on personal choice. If our faith is strong or if we accept heartily what the astrologer says, it will work for us, irrespective of the fact that it works for us or not. If I were to ignore an astrologer and my faith is rested in his prediction, no matter what, results will follow.
Infact, I just wrote, ‘my take on astrology’ today. Let me know what do you think of it.

If an astrologer can predict so accurately, and if my faith is strong, according to you the predictions will come true. Correct? Then I ask, why the astrolger cannot predict his own future, why he lacks that faith on his prediction, why does he earn money in this odd way?
Do you mean all astrologers were born to be astrologers? I cannot believe it. I have seen many astrologers who were something else, then switched over to this profession after finding it as a source of easy money.

Astrology is a perfect science, I have no doubts about that.But in the present days no astrologer is perfect.(That includes me, I am an astrologer as well)Some astrologers say that if Mars is placed at 2nd,4th,7th,8th,and 12th house it is highly unfavorable for marriage.Because of this many women cannot get married.We can use astrology as a guide and not a text.If an astrologer predicts I will be a very rich man in future, I will not blindly believe him and stop working.similarly if he says my life span is short, I will not believe it totally.You know why? to try to know about the future.You can also consult a good astrologer too.But we can not make decisions on our life with the advices of an astrologer.If you give me any horoscope I will tell a few points instantly which will be exactly correct.Totally I will tell 4 points right out of 10.Yet you will have a great respect on me and my astrology and you will compromise with the balance 6 points assuming they are slightly wrong.That is how you get confidence on astrologers like me and start trusting whatever we tell as god's words.
