A short story with a moral-1

In 'Maha bharat'Dharma character is known for justice,but many people don't know that Dharma was a very self controlled man.When the kauravas invited him for a gamble he knew the trap behind it.Yet he accepted it to respect the king Drudharashtra.
The game started;Dharma started losing every time the dies were tossed.But at one stage he loses his contol and went on to gamble on his throne,land,brothers and finally his wife.Dharma who was a very self controlled person became like a street gambler at the end.So is the power of GAMBLING.

The teacher told this incident to the students and asked them what was the moral of the story.

One boy got up and said,sir,'from this story we learn that for an emergency we can mortgage our wives and gamble'

The real moral ofcourse is;
Never gamble;you will lose your control and your fortunes;
