Should Sonia Gandhi Hit at the National Pride of Indians?
Sonia Gandhi is one of the most powerful ladies in Asia. And it is not because of the power of her personality but mostly due to her dynastic values - her supremacy in Gandhi family which ruled India for a long life.
And this is the basic reason why most of the congress big-wigs cling to her for a fine political career. Although she is a bad speaker and does not know how to handle the press shrewdly still she plays her political moves with the finesse of a seasoned chess player. It may be her wisdom or she may be a toy in the hands of some very clever and canny loyalists.
But she makes serious mistakes when, due to her obsession with hate politics, she hits at the national or regional pride of the people.
I shall give only two recent examples:
She did not attend the funeral of the mother of our national icon and actor of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan . It is shocking. Her government played many other tactics to humiliate the national hero. People of the country really felt bad for it. Moreover everybody knows Amitabh Bachchan is a through gentleman and never utters a single word against the Gandhis. No Indian would like a bad treatment with a nice person like Amitabh.
Her second recent mistake is to call Narender Modi ‘Maut ka Soudager’ . She failed to recognize that for the majority of the Gujaratis Modi is a regional pride. They did not her comment and instead of a vast opposition Modi won with almost two-third majority.
Sonia Gandhi always seemed more than ready to shake hand with harshest opponents in politics. So it is difficult to understand why is she hitting the national pride of Indians in a worst way. She may be clipping her own wings by such indulgence. But the truth is always bitter which politicians rarely wants to realize.

Politics is a dirty game any where around the world Oshon
I have yet to witness or hear of "clean politics". They are very humble before an election and after and if in power, they grow into arrogant bullies!

Politicians even love to trample talent
If it satisfies their ego or a whim. Actually people are still not wise or educated enough to elect deserving representatives.

I had big hopes from Sonia Gandhi when she came into the power. But till now she has done nothing special. And she won't anything special in future as I think now.
