Scientists have discovered that nobody has bad memory. It is very important how we use our brain. When we try to remember something, only our left part of brain works. For reinforcing of the memory it is very important to learn how to use right half of brain too.
Best training for brain is changing our daily routine. Brain will be force to make new connections of the neuron cells. Every new connection means increasing of capacity of brain. Try to use your non dominant hand all day. Left hemisphere controls our right part of body and via versa. Using non dominant hand is new task for brain and opportunity for new connections.
Right hemisphere like colors. So if you want to help to your memory use coloured pencils to make read text colorfull. You will remember 60% of text with coloured keywords, but only 32% of black and white text.
Motion helps to our brain to work better. Move whenever you can. It is good for your body and your memory too. Food and water are also important. Your brain needs aminoacids which are in fish , poultry and green vegetable.
Try to remember everything you can: telephone numbers, ZIP codes, shopping list, capital cities an so on. Also memory games can help you.
If you have problem to remember names, always repete the name when you hear it for the first time and try to connect it with something familiar to you.
These are not just tips how to improve your memory, but also protection against Alzhaimer disease and sclerosis.
