Nature in its beauty
Submitted by shobhan on 27 May, 2008 - 06:36.Looking at this picture, I felt that I was in a world of my own, far away. No pollution, no worries and in total ignorant bliss. For once I felt a oneness with God. No heavy traffic to grapple with, no deadlines to meet at the workplace, no noisy neighbours to tolerate and no rat race to compete in. A life without woes.

Holidaying in the lap of Nature
Submitted by dhawanbm on 23 May, 2008 - 13:36.The holidays have had begun in the city schools. I along with family members boarded the train to Shimla also called ‘The Queen of Hills’. The most haunted tourist destination during the summers, it is all agog with activity, fun and frolic. The toy train merrily chugged out of the Kalka station along its winding tracks on its upward journey to Shimla.

A Serious Lack Of Trees
Submitted by Bryan on 17 April, 2008 - 01:30.When people ignore the environment it creates sometimes pretty miserable results most of them don't understand is really their fault. When I was a boy every building and all the houses in Port of Spain had trees on their property. The city was a lot cooler than it was now.

Good Songs Never Die
Submitted by Bryan on 17 April, 2008 - 01:17.I now have proof that a really good song just never dies. Other people take advantage of them. Here in the Caribbean we have a lot of gangster rap or ' dub ' artists and the taxis and bars downtown Port of Spain specialise in playing these artists. In loud and rasping speakers these songs blast at you wherever you go.
