Pa’s Prayers
Submitted by adewuyi on 25 July, 2008 - 16:52.Pa Jacob, though very old and had never seen the walls of a school, was quite intelligent. He had a way of consoling himself. Each evening, when his sons came from the big cities and began to talk about education and civilization, he would tell them he did not have book knowledge because there were no schools in his days.

The Powerful Yogi - Part 1
Submitted by abhi_bangal on 25 July, 2008 - 13:17.The jungles are an awesome place. It is habitat to the yogis and dacoits to boot. In one such jungle lived a hard-core yogi. Having great yogic powers he had conquered all the human desires. That’s why he was bereft of all the materialistic wishes. He visited the villages around quite often and took great pleasure in serving the needy. Each and everyone always gave him a warm welcome.

Submitted by vangie garcia on 13 July, 2008 - 13:30.I still remember my uncle, a Bone Cancer patient. I was only 17 when the doctor diagnosed it. My uncle, as far as i know, was a very strong man, a man with words of honor and with dignity. I would say that he was my favorite among my 3 uncles. But despite of his strong personality, only one thing i disliked him was we never convinced him that there is God.
